FLUX.1-dev HighRes is a fine-tuned model based on FLUX.1-dev. By fine-tuning on millions of images of various sizes at around 2048 resolution, the model achieves significantly better image generation quality at resolutions such as 2048 and 2560 compared to the original FLUX.1-dev. Furthermore, compared to generating 1024-resolution images with FLUX.1-dev and upscaling them using super-resolution models like Real-ESRGAN, the native 2K resolution images generated by FLUX.1-dev HighRes offer noticeably superior quality in terms of detail, texture, and edges.
